Well, one thing I learned by owning a boat is I’d rather use them than write about them.
After five years of very active cruising (over 180 trips logged in the chart plotter!) we’re ready to upgrade. We put in our order for a new North Pacific 45. The build will start May 2019 and we’ll take delivery sometime in spring 2020.
Shifty has been an awesome boat. We’ve put hundreds of hours of work into her, including a complete rebuild of the electrical system, replacement of all black-water systems, and a generator overhaul. We’ll have one more summer of cruising and then we’ll put her on the market in September. If you’re in the market for a well-maintained Salish Sea cruiser, let me know!
